Miriam has nearly 20 years of experience preparing and prosecuting hundreds of patent applications worldwide in a variety of disciplines. Over the years, her clients have included Intel, IBM, Microsoft, BlackBerry and Ciena.

Miriam’s clients value her friendly, helpful attitude and acute analytical skills.

Miriam was recognized as one of the leading experts in patent prosecution in Canada by IAM Patent 1000 – a unique guide that identifies the top patent firms and practitioners in key jurisdictions around the globe.

Amy is an active member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC), serving on the Young Practitioners Committee.


Danny Kaufman

Since 2002, Danny has provided valuable technical assistance in the preparation and prosecution of patents.

Danny’s extensive career as an R&D electronics engineer spans over 11 years. He has worked at start-ups and leading high-tech companies as a developer, system architect, and manager.

Danny has been involved in the development of digital and mixed-signal ASICs, Bluetooth® accessories, optical sensors, single board computers (SBC), memory products, video cards and general purpose electronics, and a data system and analog front-end of a wide-format ink-jet printer.
